The New Zealand Stock Exchange (NZX), based in Wellington, consists of the NZX Main Board, the NZX Debt Market, the NZX Dairy Derivatives, the NZX Equity Derivatives, and the Fonterra Shareholders&#8217; Market.<\/p>\n\n<p>The purpose of the NZX is to provide a marketplace where the exchange&#8217;s listed equities and funds can be traded. The NZX provides a platform for the buying and selling of liquid investments, offering investors access to market information and real-time stock quotes.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2>NZX Exchange API Support<\/h2>\n\n<p>TT\u00ae supports the following:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n  <li>Prices: ITCH Protocol <\/li>\n  <li>Orders: FIX 5.0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2>Matching Engine<\/h2>\n\n<p>NZX operates the Nasdaq Matching Engine (ME), which is built upon the Nasdaq Financial Framework (NFF), managing the full range of trading functions \u2014 from price formation through order matching. The Engine is among the lowest latency in the industry at sub-40 \u03bcSec. Orders are recycled to allow for an increase in total order capacity.<\/p>\n\n<h2>Connectivity Options<\/h2>\n\n<p>The TT\u00ae platform provides connectivity to the exchange, so you do not have to contact the exchange regarding connectivity options.
